Been doing lots and lots of doodles with crazy, cooky hair. I loooooove line work. Lots. This is a piece I did for a December show at the Late Show Gallery.
I like to draw pretty things, design pretty things, and be inspired by all the wonderful pretty things floating around this little globe. Fortunately I've collected a nice little bouquet of beautiful people in my life that make this process all the more interesting...and quite humorous.
When I was 7 my mother confronted me regarding her brown recliner living room chair. She asked where the brown cloth-covered buttons once attached to the chair had gone. I admitted no involvement in their disappearance. Weeks later at the school art fair, my mother came face to face with those buttons. Transformed into a family of 5, all with brown button heads. I also used to draw on the walls behind my clothes in my closet. These days my artistic expression no longer defaces my mother's property.
